We use the term win-win for scenarios where everyone finishes in a better position than where they started. I submit a different term for taking risks: create learn-learn scenarios.
Failure is always an option. There will be projects that have good results, and projects that have bad results. But realizing that failing once isn’t the beginning of failing forever, and rather a temporary dip on an upward-leading path, is essential. Failure is natural, unavoidable, and important. Don’t avoid something because you might fail: look for opportunities that will cause you to learn something.
Succeed and learn, or fail and learn. Either way, you’re winning.
